This Web site is undergoing some changes. It will still contain all the information plus more. I am in the process of making it more user friendly. If you visit and a page is down please try again later, as I will not have pages down longer than an hour.

Thanks for your patients!

I started this tree a few years ago when Debbie Berg, a cousin from Texas, emailed me. She sent me the information she had gathered about my father's mother's (my grandmother) side of the family. I held on to this information and I slowly gathered information on both my parent's families.

I had no interest in doing my family tree until this information was sent to me. Then I still wasn't very into it. A year or so past and I didn't even touch it or look at it. One day back in 2003 my dad asked about it. So, I started looking up things on the internet. I found tons of information as you will see on the following pages and I continue to find more.

As I was gathering this information I had no family tree software, so I printed pages and pages of info. Finally, I bought software and it makes it so much easier to do. Some of the information is verified and some of it isn't. I don't have sources for everything because a lot was printed and I have no idea where I found it. My sister-in-law, Rebecca (Sayres) Ash, became interested in her family as I was doing mine. One side of her family had a genealogist to do theirs. So that's where she started and come to find out her ancestors are some of my ancestors! That made finding information a lot easier.

There are pictures and other stories that are found on the pages that I have made and also in the ancestors section. This is because I chose to make pages that have historical interest in our family. When I made the pages that contain each family member the pictures and information that I had in the family tree database got printed with it. There may be more information in the ancestor section because I just used highlights for my pages.

I would like to thank my whole family for helping out and for not getting aggravated when I would ask questions and then tell you to write it down, and for being patient while I went through pictures and newspaper articles. A special thanks to my husband, Mark, for putting up with me and my tree at all hours of the day and night, my grandma's for giving me as much info as they could, and my parents who are really interested and helped if they could.
